Circus pantomime and commedia del arte style video collage, that answers the ultimate question – whether two different cultures are able to communicate with each other? And can it actually work out? We tried to tell this story using things understandable to everyone -gestures, symbols and irony – things that don’t need to be translated or described.

We offer you a short yet informative and breath-taking sneak peek into the impressive fire and rhythm show of our friends — fire-jugglers from the Fire Spirit Show and the rhythm group PULSE EFFECT! Watch but be cautious — the fire will be all over the place. Literally!

This is the opportunity to take a look at the making set of the film “Komunalka”, witness how
an abandoned and neglected communal flat turns into a fully inhabited place, to get to know
the people who worked there for five days, and of course to find out how the culmination of
the film — the last episode — was made.

A film “Komunalka” written by Adrians Briedis-Makovejs and directed by Dmitrijs Scegolevs is a cynically ironic story about the relationships between people of different age, their ability to cope and solve conflicts. Besides, not always it is possible to solve a conflict the diplomatic way, sometimes one needs to act and do it a quite indistinctive way for a common situation.
